My Friend Is Getting Her Master’s of Nursing

When my friend started working as a nurses’ aide, she quickly realized that nurses were really the ones that helped patients. It made her decide she wanted to be a full-fledged nurse, and she took the courses at Valparaiso to get her nursing degree. Once she had the nursing degree she was happy for a long time, but then decided she wanted to go back for her Master’s degree.

She isn’t sure if she wants to supervise, or speak, or teach, but she loves nursing and wants to further her education with a Master of Science in Nursing (it’s a clinical nurse leader master’s degree to be all particular about it) – she’s armed with the required bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

Her number one choice is the St. Xavier’s Masters in Nursing program because she loves that the online courses are balanced with a weekend of applied campus experience. She doesn’t want to be hands-off for any long period of time. Her online MS nursing will give her better options in the nursing arena, and that’s what she’s looking for.
