Office Hardware
In my office I have a desktop computer and an external hard drive.
I backup all my client files, pictures, and videos onto the backup drive to make sure it stays safe, but the health of my desktop hard drive is absolutely in question these days.
I’m trying to figure out if I could forgo the desktop entirely for a laptop, and then just use the external hard drive to keep backing things up, but it would also become my main hard drive.
When you make a backup drive (or any external drive) your main hard drive…do you need to get another backup drive?
I’d rather get a laptop that is lighter, with less hard drive space and more RAM, since most of what I use on my computer are web applications (like WordPress LOL.)
I’m just thinking it through. I really want a good home office setup here and it seems more difficult to come up with the right solution than I originally thought!
