Staying Awake in Your Home Office
On dreary, gray, rainy days like today it can be downright impossible to stay awake in the office.
One option would be to go out and shop for espresso machines, another would be to just start drinking more Diet Coke. The problem with caffeine is that you have to eat to create a base for all that, and I’m not a big fan of eating a lot because (you guessed it) that will make me tired and sleepy!
So I’m looking for solutions.

I listen to an audiobook, walk around the house for a few minutes and pick up random dishes or trash, empty the dishwasher. Anything to get up for a few minutes. You have kids in the house though now right?
The other option? I have a kitchen timer and I take it in my bedroom (or sofa if you have kids and need to do that half-sleep thing) set it for 25 minutes and take a power nap. I’m a HUGE believer in the power nap.
