On Security
I worry a lot about online security.
I have a firewall, a virus scanner, a spyware scanner, and run them regularly.
But the only time I thought about a home security system (like ADT or ademco) was when we first moved in and the alarm went off. Firemen and police came and asked us what the code was.
Well, it seems that the previous owners did not feel the need to tell us that there was a security system in the house, as such, we had no idea what the code was. So the police officer was kind enough to break it so the horrible alarm noise would stop!
Nothing has happened to us in the five years we’ve lived here, but every now and then I wonder…should we do more to keep our house safe?
What do you do to protect your house? Standard locks? Or do you have a security system?
