Bothersome Birthdays
It seems that every year the same thing happens. I open my mailbox and birthday invitations spill out in June. They are for children’s birthday parties, because it seems every child of everyone in my friend group has a birthday in June!
This also reminds me that I feel like a fool for not planning my own birthday party better. One kid always has her birthday party the same weekend as mine is going to be on, and adults that go to that one are too tired to go to a kids’ party during the day and another party at night.
So what’s a girl with a June birthday to do?
