Got the schnauzers a treat!

I have two adorable miniature schnauzers. They’re brothers from the same litter and seriously play and pretend to fight almost all the time.

We’ve had issues with fill-in gas meter or electric meter readers come by, and because they don’t know I have dogs, they traipse through my gate…leaving the gate partially open when they leave. One time my dogs were missing for five hours before the local police found them four miles away across the street from our local Starbucks. (Like doggies like mommy, it seems!) So, I thought maybe having a sign on the fence might reduce the number of times our gate gets haphazardly left open by workers that don’t know we have something precious in our yard.

So I was really interested in the Pet Postings company – they offer beware of dog signs through their company. They come in three colors with hardware to attach to either a chain link or wooden fence, and the sign I ordered says dogs in yard…which I think for my little schnauzers is way more appropriate than beware of dog.

When I ordered I received an email letting me know my order was received and the sign was being shipped. While I was a little worried at first they don’t accept credit cards, they have a Good Karma policy. Send your check or money order as soon as you’ve ordered…or as fast as you can after. They trust you! That sense of trust alone meant the world to me as I ordered.

On top of all that, shipping is free. This company is seriously fantastic.

The sign itself is cobalt blue with cream writing. It shipped really quickly and came with the necessary equipment to get it fastened to the chain link fence fast. I loved that I had a choice between a sign that said Dog in Yard and Dogs in Yard – because I like people to know I have two. It’s important to me that if they see one, they know another isn’t far behind!

The ordering process was a snap, the customer service was amazing, the price on the signs is really low for the high quality you get, and it looks good on my gate.

I cannot recommend Pet Postings highly enough. They’re wonderful for anyone with dogs.

Note: I tried to get a picture of the sign outside on the fence but the sun wouldn’t cooperate – too much glare – even though you don’t see glare just looking at it. It looks really good outside on the fence. It stands out but still looks really simple and classic, not loud and obnoxious like some signs.
