Internet Marketers – Not Just Another Infomercial!

POSTED BY Jennifer Gniadecki on Aug 12 under Blog Yumminess

First there was the door-to-door salesman, coming to you with a product you may or may not have ever seen before and assuring you that once you heard about it you could no longer live your day-to-day life without it.

Next came the infomercial. Usually played late at night when people are too groggy to know better, they’re told that they MUST HAVE the product or their lives as they know it won’t be as fulfilled, wonderful or exciting as they could be with the newest product shown on television.

Some people believe that internet marketers are the “new generation of As-Seen-on-TV product hawkers. They feel that it’s a very big circle where everyone is paying everyone else and suddenly everyone is a millionaire. This is NOT the case.

Internet Marketers sell products that are designed to make your product or service sell. It’s not a 19.95 juicer they’re trying to give you; they’re trying to help you sell more units of YOUR 19.95 juicer. It’s more about the bare bones work that goes into sales as well as the psychology of the people buying. If you’ve ever gone to one of these sites and felt you didn’t need something like that to help you, you may be right. I would recommend you do a search on the product and find testimonials to see who that marking product has helped.

Unlike the Magic Mixer, which promises to dice, chop, create margaritas and clean your living room; no internet marketer will say their product is right for everyone. You have to find the product that works with your personality and skill set to truly have a winning combination. This can require some searching and work to discover what others are saying about a product. Once you find one that works with your needs in mind, you will find that your sales can actually skyrocket!

The beauty of what Internet Marketers sell is that they don’t promise no work on your part. No one is going to tell you that their product will do all the work. You shouldn’t expect someone’s product to do all the work for you. They can be a lifesaver, they can help tremendously, but when it comes down to it that’s your product and you want to make it a success.

They aren’t the Fuller Brush Salesman, they are a potential catalyst to your success. If you have a bad product, all the marketing tools in the world won’t make it sell; but if your product is good, you owe it to yourself to check out what internet marketing has to offer. If you don’t, you’ll never know what you’re missing.
